Kiakadt a magyar kormányra az ukrán külügy az Európai Tanács mai ülésén, azonnali válaszokat várnak Szijjártótól
Az ukrán diplomácia vezetője, Dmytro Kuleba reméli, hogy Magyarország engedélyt ad Ukrajnának az Európai Unióval való integrációs tárgyalások megkezdésére. Beata Płomecka, a lengyel rádió tudósítója beszél a részletekről a polskieradio24.pl-en.
Ukrajna elvégezte házi feladatát az európai uniós csatlakozási tárgyalások megkezdéséhez, „minden ellentétes állítás téves” – jelentette ki Dmitro Kuleba ukrán külügyminiszter Brüsszelben hétfőn.
Az EU-tagországok külügyminisztereinek tanácskozását megelőzően Dmitro Kuleba ukrán külügyminiszter közölte, mivel Kijev elvégezte az elvárt feladatokat, a viszonosság elve alapján és a partnerség jegyében azt várja, hogy az EU elismerje az ukrán erőfeszítéseket.
Szavai szerint „pusztító” lenne, ha az EU-tagországok vezetői nem adnának zöld jelzést országának a tagsági tárgyalások megkezdéséhez.
Nem tudom elképzelni, nem is akarok beszélni arról, milyen pusztító következményekkel jár az, ha az Európai Tanács nem hozza meg ezt a döntést
– fogalmazott Kuleba, majd hozzátette, ha nem születik pozitív döntés a csatlakozási tárgyalások megkezdéséről, az azt az üzenetet hordozza, hogy az Európai Unió nem tartja be ígéreteit.
Kijelentette, nem támasztják alá tények azt az állítást, amely szerint Ukrajna nem tesz eleget a korrupció elleni fellépés területén.
Az Európai Bizottság számos jelentésben közölte, hogy Ukrajna nagy lépéseket tett ezen a területen, ugyanis a csatlakozási tárgyalások megkezdéséhez szükséges négy, az Európai Unió részéről megkövetelt törvényt elfogadta.
Ennek a Magyarország által folyamatosan hangoztatott aggodalmakat el kell oszlatnia
– mondta, hozzátéve, Ukrajna megváltoztatta a kisebbségi nyelvhasználatot és oktatást érintő jogszabályait is olyan módon, ahogyan azt Magyarország kívánta.
Ezt a tényt tiszteletben kell tartani.
Nagyon nehéz megérteni tehát, honnan jön Magyarország bővítéssel szembeni ellenállása. A nemzeti kisebbségeket érintően ugyanis Ukrajna mindazt megtette, amit Magyarország kért. Ha minden feladatunkat elvégeztük, tisztázni kell, miért áll ellen továbbra is Magyarország
– zárta gondolatait az ukrán külügyminiszter.
Josep Borrell, az Európai Unió külügyi és biztonságpolitikai főképviselője a találkozóra érkezve közölte, most, amikor Oroszország megsokszorozta Ukrajna elleni támadásait, nem az európai támogatás csökkentésének, hanem növelésének jött el az ideje.
A főképviselő reményét fejezte ki, hogy az Ukrajnának szánt támogatást illetően az „európai egység” erősödik.
A tagállamoknak azt kell áttekinteniük, miként növelhető az uniós támogatás
– fogalmazott.
„Noha az orosz légitámadások soha nem látott intenzitásúak, az orosz hadsereg veszteségei is egyre nagyobbak. Ez az a pillanat, amikor minden képességet fel kell sorakoztatni Ukrajna támogatására”
– hangsúlyozta az uniós diplomácia vezetője.
Krisjanis Karins lett külügyminiszter arról beszélt, hogy az Európai Uniónak a katonai mellett politikai támogatást is nyújtania kell Kijevnek. Utóbbinak azt kell jelentenie, hogy az „Európai Unió teljesen kitárja kapuját”, és megkezdi a csatlakozásról szóló tárgyalásokat Ukrajnával – mondta.
Kijelentette, az ukrajnai támogatás tekintetében Magyarország álláspontja „kihívást jelent” az EU számára, és aláhúzza az uniós egyhangú döntéshozatalról folytatott diskurzus fontosságát.

Elina Valtonen finn külügyminiszter „sajnálatosnak” nevezte az ukrán támogatásokkal szembeni magyar álláspontot, és azt mondta, Kijev végsőkig tartó segítése nemcsak a megtámadott ország, hanem az Európai Unió érdeke is.
