L. Simon László kiakadt

L. Simon László, a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum múlt héten kirúgott igazgatója szerint a World Press Photo kiállításon nem szerepelt olyan kép, amely sértette volna a gyermekvédelmi törvényt.
Mint mondta, nem a törvény, hanem inkább annak értelmezésének az áldozata lett.
A Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum éléről november elején eltávolított igazgató Szombathelyen, egy nyilvános podcastfelvételen beszélt a történtekről Ungár Péterrel.
Az LMP-s politikussal folytatott beszélgetésről a 444.hu készített felvételt, amely szerint kiderült, L. Simon László azt mondta,
- továbbra is helyesnek tartja az általa is megszavazott gyermekvédelmi törvényt, de nem gondolja, hogy a törvény áldozatává vált volna, szerinte inkább arról van szó, hogy nem tudta jól értelmezni a jogszabályt.
- Úgy gondolja, a szexuális felvilágosításnak van helye az oktatásban, de az nincs rendben, ha valaki „alulöltözve, egy rózsaszín bugyiban bemegy az általános iskola alsó tagozatába, és arról magyaráz a gyerekeknek, hogy ha akarnak, akkor lehetnek más neműek is, mint aminek születtek, és ez az ő döntésük, kilencévesen, hogy átoperáltatják-e magukat”.
- Mint mondta, a jogalkotói szándék egyértelmű, és helyes volt, amikor a gyermekvédelmi törvényt alkották, de nem egyszerű tökéletes szöveget alkotni. Szerinte olyan törvényt kellene írni, amely kevés szabad értelmezést tesz lehetővé.
- L. Simon László azt is elárulta, hogy szerinte nem szerepelt olyan kép a World Press Photo kiállításon, amely a törvény szövegét vagy szellemiségét sértette volna.
Mint megírtuk, L. Simon Lászlót november elején bocsátották el a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum éléről, miután Dúró Dóra, a Mi Hazánk országgyűlési képviselője október végén rámutatott, hogy a World Press Photo kiállítás több LMBTQ-témájú fotót is bemutatott.
Csák János kulturális és innovációs miniszter az elbocsátással kapcsolatban kifejtette, hogy L. Simon pályája elismerésre méltó, de vezetőnek alkalmatlan, aki nem tudja betartatni a törvényeket.
A politikus közösségi oldalán reagált a történtekre, kiemelve, hogy a döntést tudomásul vette, de nem tudja elfogadni. L. Simon László szerint
„a World Press Photo kiállítás képeinek bemutatásával a múzeum szándékosan semmilyen jogszabályt nem sértett meg”.
Időközben kiderült, hogy a Néprajzi Múzeumban is lekordonoztak egy melegeket ábrázoló fotósorozatot, és jelezték, hogy 18 éven aluliak nem léphetnek be.
