Kegyelemdöfés Magyarországnak?
Az Európai Unió két tagállamának kormánya úgy látja, hogy fel kellene függeszteni a Magyarországnak fizetett uniós agrártámogatásokat is a jogállamiság megsértése miatt.
A svéd Jessica Rosencrantz és a finn Joakim Strand szerint az EU-s országok önként iratkoztak fel az alapelvek megtartására, de a tapasztalat azt mutatja, hogy a jogállamiságot aktívan számon kérő szabályozásra van szükség, ami a legnagyobb uniós forrást jelentő agrártámogatások visszatartásával lenne betartható.
A KAP keretein belül 264 milliárd eurót, több mint 100 ezer milliárd forintot osztanak ki 2023 és 2027 között. Ez az EU költségvetésének a legnagyobb tétele.
Ebből 189 milliárd euró került közvetlenül a gazdákhoz, 66 milliárd pedig az elszegényedett vidéki területek fejlesztésére fordítható.
Mi vezetett idáig?
Az Európai Bizottság korábban 76,5 milliárd euró kifizetését függesztette fel Lengyelországgal szemben, végül azonban februárban megkezdték a pénzek folyósítását, miután a kormányváltás után a lengyelek teljesítették az unió elvárásait.
A Magyarországgal szemben felfüggesztett 22 milliárd euró fele azonban továbbra sem elérhető.
Az Európai Bizottság legutóbbi, júliusi jelentése továbbra is rendszer szintű problémákat lát Magyarországon a jogállami követelmények betartásával kapcsolatban.
