"Kettős játék": Jourová szerint Magyarország az oroszbarát Orbán miatt izolált Európában

Kemény szavakkal bírálta Vera Jourová a magyar kormányzatot annak szerinte Kreml-párti irányvonala miatt, hangsúlyozva, hogy egyre több EU-diplomata ad hangot ezzel kapcsolatos ellenérzésének.
"Magyarország a legmagasabb szintű elszigeteltségben van, de nem a jogállamiság miatt, hanem az Oroszországgal szembeni álláspontja miatt, mert kezet fog Putyinnal"
- mondta a hivatalából idén távozni akaró alapértékekért felelős uniós biztos az EU Observernek adott interjúban.
Az EU Orbán Viktor illiberális kormányzása, illetve a jogállamiság helyzete miatt visszatart támogatásokat és egyéb szankciókkal fenyeget - emlékeztet a brüsszeli lap.
Amit most Jourová Orbán "kettős játékának" nevezett, azt sokak számára Putyin orosz elnökkel tavaly októberben Kínában történt kézfogása testesítette meg.
Jourová szerint az uniós vezetők egyre kevésbé fogalmaznak diplomatikusan Orbán "oroszbarát játszmáiról". A biztos egyben elutasította azt a kormányzati állítást, hogy ő "hungarofób", mondván, az EU Orbán jogsértéseit bírálja, nem a magyar embereket.
"A kettő nem ugyanaz"
- mondta a cseh politikusnő.
Az Európai Bizottság decemberben 10,2 milliárd eurót feloldott Magyarország pénzéből, a lépés miatt az Európai Parlament beperelte a Bizottságot.
Jourová azonban az interjúban megvédte Brüsszel eljárását, hangsúlyozva, hogy a pénzt a magyar igazságügyi reformok után oldották fel.
"Még van egy halom tennivalójuk"
- jelentette ki.
Mint elmondta, a júliustól betöltendő uniós elnökségi szerep, - tekintettel az ukrajnai háborúra - nagyobb kontrollt fog jelenteni Orbán magatartása felett.
"Ha az akarja, hogy tiszteljék, akkor professzionálisan kell viselkednie, és semleges szerepet kell játszania."
