Az autósoknak Ausztriában komoly következményekkel kell szembenézniük, ha nem tartják be a téli gumiabroncsokra vonatkozó előírásokat - figyelmeztet a hitelforum.hu.
A november 1-én hatályba lépő un. helyzettől függő gumiabroncs-kötelezettség megsértése esetén bírságra lehet számítani, baleset okozása esetén pedig a büntetés akár kétmillió forintot is meghaladhat.
Ausztriában 2008 óta minden év november 1. és április 15. között kötelező téli gumikat használni a személyautók és a 3,5 tonnánál kisebb járművek esetében, ha az útviszonyok ezt megkívánják.
A törvény előírja, hogy havas, jeges, vagy havas esős útviszonyok között a járművek mind a négy kerekén téli gumiknak kell lenniük, amelyek M+S (Mud and Snow – sár és hó) jelzéssel rendelkeznek. Az ellenőrzések során a hatóságok a gumik mintázatának mélységét is figyelik, amely személyautóknál legalább 4 milliméter, teherautóknál pedig minimum 5 milliméter kell legyen.
Az M+S jelzésű négyévszakos gumiabroncsokat a hatóságok elfogadják, amennyiben azok megfelelnek a jogszabályi követelményeknek. Ezen felül a téli gumikat bizonyos helyzetekben hóláncokkal is ki lehet váltani, ha ezeket az egyik tengelyre felszerelik. Ugyanakkor a hóláncokat csak teljesen hóval borított úton szabad használni, így nem nyújtanak általános alternatívát.
A szabályok betartására érdemes odafigyelni, hiszen a rendőrök már kisebb vétség esetén is 50 eurós, azaz körülbelül 20 ezer forintos bírságot szabhatnak ki. Baleset esetén azonban a büntetés mértéke drasztikusan emelkedik, és akár az 5000 eurót is elérheti – ez több mint 2 millió forintnak felel meg. Ezen túlmenően a biztosítók sem vállalják a felelősséget olyan balesetek esetében, ahol a jármű nem rendelkezett megfelelő gumiabroncsokkal -írja a 24.hu.
A közelgő téli időszakra készülve az autósoknak érdemes előre gondolkodni, és időben felkészíteni járművüket a hideg időjárási viszonyokra.
